Spring is in the air.......

Welcome back after the half term break.

This term the children will be learning about Spring. They'll be taking part in lamb and chick themed activities and will hopefully have some frog spawn to look at. They will also be doing some Mother's Day and Easter activities and making their duck hats ready for Cuckoo Fair!

We will also be having a very special story time on World Book Day, Thursday 2nd March. Kate Drennan, Ava's Mum, is our local Usborne books representative and has kindly asked to come in and share a story with the children.

Welcome back. We hope you had a lovely Christmas and happy new year to you all. Firstly a very warm welcome to our new starters Elsie, Charlotte, Annabelle, Ava and Jonah.

This term the children will be continuing to learn about Winter but will also be looking at arctic animals and the northern lights. We'll be making frosty pictures, creating our own animals and making northern light pictures. For Chinese New Year in February, the children will also be trying some Chinese food.

Well done to all the children who took part in the Christmas Nativity play last term. They all tried really hard and sang beautifully. We're sure you'll agree they did a great job.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.........

Welcome back to you all after the half term break and a very warm welcome to our new starter Alyssa.

This is a very exciting term for the children in the run up to Christmas. As well as preparing for their Nativity play, the children will be making Christmas cards, decorating gingerbread for the Partridge Fair, writing letters to Santa and doing lots of festive crafts. There will be plenty to keep them busy!

We hope you are pleased with your Christmas card orders. The children did a great job with their designs and take real pride in seeing them used.
